What is the name for the Australian bred type of horse that served both military and bushrangers alike, known particularly for their prowess for the Australian Light Horse mounted forces?

Bonus points for anyone who can tell us what breeds go into this type of horse.

Correct! Stunning horses. Mixture of Thoroughbred, Arab, the Timor Pony, Cape Horse and probably some Clydesdale.

Ok. My question.

Rats are useful after all. Magawa is a Tanzanian-born African rat. He and many other rats have been hugely successfull in doing..............what?

Searching for landmines?

Bugger!!~!!!!~~!!!!!

Correct. (How did you know that? I heard about it late last night on the ABC Radio 'Latenight' ` or whatever they call it ~ programme.) Trained rats have a 100% success rate in sniffing those mines out, including in Cambodia.

But Monk's thread pushed it to the forebrain.
