There are no legitimate military targets in Gaza ... Israel's bombing of homes, government buildings, and other buildings is a criminal atrocity

At least they gave the residents of those Towers a minute or so warning.!!

Shocking footage of the destruction.

I don't think they had Cause.
If that is their trigger, then every home inhabited by Palestinians become a target.

I have done quite a lot of reading about U.S. intelligence activities and capabilities. It is fascinating. There are, of course, things that can't be written. But what I've learned is that the U.S. uses every tool, from the old fashioned undercover spy on the ground to very hi-tech methods. We can track people by their emails, internet usage, phone calls, radio communications. We can learn who they're communicating with. We can learn their patterns of life - where they live, what they like, where they go, etc, etc, etc. We can watch them with drones. We can study their homes, bases, meeting places. Sometimes, we can listen to them talk to their friends and compatriots.

My point is this ... Israel also possesses these capabilities. Frankly, Hamas does not have the capability to hide their military infrastructure, their weapons, or to an extent, even their private conversations with each other from Israel.

And now that Israel is once again in military conflict with Hamas, they are striking very specific targets. Knowing what I know about the modern, first world intelligence community, the people and locations they are striking are people and places they have been studying for months and years. None of it is random.

Quite honestly, if Israel says they struck a building that housed Al Jazeera and the AP because it also housed Hamas military intelligence assets, I believe them. The Israelis, no doubt, have known about the Hamas intelligence assets in that building for months or years as a part of their intelligence gathering. There was no pressing need to destroy those assets until now.

Uncle Sam is a hypocrite criticizing China for human rights violations while condoning and being complicit in genocide and massive violation of human rights by Israel against Palestinians.

Uncle Sam criticizes China for detaining Uyghurs in China while Uncle Sam has been detaining Uyghurs for many more years without trial and without hope in Guantanamo.

So they didn't have control over the building. Given their track record, it makes sense to believe that Hamas Military Intelligence was using parts of the building.
I didn't say they had control of the building. What I said was they would take their security seriously, as would their landlord.
And I still think it's crap hamas would use part of the building to house it's intelligence aperatus ... you can bet that would all be down deep in some bomb proof bunker. Now if the Israelis had said hamas used it to hide some of their intelligence personel, that would have been more believable ... but to claim the Palestinian intelligence apparatus was being run out of the building .... it's just not believable to me.

Reporters without borders has filed a complaint with the International Criminal Court that Israel committed a crime against humanity with its bombing of the media building.

No evidence has been provided by Israel that the building was used by Hamas. Even if Israel had such evidence it would still be a crime to attack non-combatants.

Furthermore, Israel has drones armed with missiles that could have specifically targeted individual locations within the buildings, but Israel chose total destruction. Israel is following a policy of mass destruction which is a crime.

https://edition.cnn.com/2021/05/16/middleeast/israel-palestinian-conflict-intl/index.html

... The AP said in a statement that they were "shocked and horrified that the Israeli military would target and destroy the building housing AP's bureau and other news organizations in Gaza," and said that they "have had no indication Hamas was in the building or active in the building."
"This is something we actively check to the best of our ability. We would never knowingly put our journalists at risk," AP said.
AP has called on the Israeli government, who says the building contained Hamas military intelligent assets, to "put forward the evidence."
"This strike is an incredibly disturbing development," the statement added, concluding: "The world will know less about what is happening in Gaza because of what transpired today."
Reporters Without Borders, an NGO that works to protect journalists around the world, said in a statement it was calling on the International Criminal Court to investigate. RSF Secretary General Christophe Deloire said in a statement on the group's website that "deliberately targeting media outlets constitutes a war crime." He also said the Israeli strikes were "obstructing media coverage of a conflict that directly affects the civilian population." ...

And selling Israel horrible things like white phosphorous.

The Us have been consistent at least in evidencing that they are highly mutable when it comes to their condemnation of human rights.

Depleted uranium shells anyone?
