Banning Media Coverage!!???
Anyone here ever heard of, or about, a RIGHT to the FREEDOM of the Press??
Or a trivial thing like a RIGHT to Free Speech???
In the United States of America, regardless what some may think about our Country, or our Constitution, in the USA....by Law......the government is absolutely precluded from interfering with either of those most precious of RIGHTS of the American People!!!
Banning the RIGHT to Free Speech, or the Freedom of the Press don't fly in the USA!
That's why they are protected RIGHTS, protected & defended in the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.....
And here they are gladly tossed away as meaningless!!???
Is there nothing sacred to you people!!???
First I have to respond to someone who calls the common practice of "election silence" in his own country, a "conspiracy theory". Now, I have to respond to someone so one-dimensional, that he thinks that our Constitutional rights are "ABSOLUTE RIGHTS". Only a totally deluded moron, would think that any of these rights are absolutes!! None of your Constitutional rights are absolute DRX. Even your right to life!! A rule of thumb DRX, your rights end, where my rights begin.
No one is banning anyone's right to a free press and to free speech. Except of course, in your mind. Also, the government is absolutely
NOT precluded from interfering with either of those most precious of RIGHTS. Especially when these rights are being abused or violated.
You should really try to understand the Constitution, especially its meaning and purpose. You should also stop parroting out-of-context soundbites and platitudes, as if they are the gospel truth. The Constitution is different than Statute Law.
In the article below know the difference between the Constitution and the Law. Both the terms are interrelated but there is a lot of difference

I guess if you keep telling yourself a lie enough times, it will eventually begin to sound like the truth!
Is there nothing sacred to you people!!???
Yes! To keep an open mind. And, to always grow and learn from our past mistakes.
