I have had recent problems with non-posts and drafts

Over the years I have experienced many times posts that did not post due to inexplicable causes and this problem has never been addressed. The problem is evidently caused by the BBS host which never explains or fixes the problem.

I recently also had problems with one draft that was severely truncated by the host and which then disappeared and another draft that disappeared.

The fact that the draft function exists already evidences that there is some unexplained problem with the BBS host. I have never seen a draft function in any other BBS I have associated with.

Why does this failure-to-post problem continue in perpetuity when no such problem was ever experienced on other BBS I have posted on.

This BBS host appears to be a violator of freedom of speech without explanation of why it does so and what its rules are for censorship..

Both the phpBB3 and XenForo have a draft function. The XenForo one functions automatically. I have never had a problem with either software’s draft facility. I do strongly suggest that a long post be composed in a text or word processor then transferred to here and images/videos or tags like Bold or Italic etc etc added.

I am still intending to move to another host—the weird apparent word censorship like “cas sino” (in both phpBB3 and XenForo) is a bit suss. This year has been rather Tasmanian real estate centered for me but that is settled down—so look for action soon.

Why does the BBS host block posts and not explain the reason?

Evidently it has algorithms that identify what it wants to censor. Why does it not explain what its algorithms found undesirable in blocked posts?

It appears that once a prospective post is censored by blocking it is impossible to amend the prospective post to remove the block in order to post it.

I have no idea, they swear there is no censorship ny them.

Long posts—prepare in a tex processor. That is good advice anyway.
