It's actually his answer wording Piney, maybe pay a bit more attention.....considering he already said it was in a USA river in the QUESTION, why does he need to mention it's native to North America in the Answer ????
Would it not be implied is was native to that river???? :smirk :smirk

Yes thanks.. I skipped over the Columbia River, but there was no mention of the USA. It could be anywhere.

I was just pointing out that care is necessary ... He might know, and YOU might know where the Columbia River is, but USA was not part of the question.

If you have specific questions..? please be SPECIFIC.!

Some species in our waters are native species, and some are non-native species that have been introduced from other areas. The Northern Pikeminnow is native to the Northwest. Bass, walleye, and crappies are here, but they’re non-native.

I am just saying questions should not based on the idea that we know your rivers.. for example. This IS an Australian site, despite the welcome presence of you Yanks. Do NOT assume .. be clear and precise...

Asking questions is an ART.

I know... having a lot of experience in one of my previous life, lots more in the one after that , and now, only my poor friends and others I meet, including here , get my attention. I can't go hard, much on my friends, .... but you guys..? need some clearer thinking.
