So your happy with him being your leader for another 8 days.......
If the cop that was killed was your partner would you still feel the same ?
Did I say I was happy? Did I not say he should go?

I refrain from making personal attacks on you guys. I’m even cordial with Aussie who is a lawyer who worked for The Dark Side, and that goes above and beyond the call.

So I expect the same in return.

I think we’ll get through these next 8 days, but ...

If I hear him saying anything encouraging protests or demonstrations on or near Inauguration Day, then I would agree to a 25th Amendment removal immediately.
It was shortly before noon last Wednesday when Trump gave an incendiary speech to a raucous crowd, insisting his election defeat by Joe Biden could be overturned and urging them to march to the Capitol and “fight much harder” against “bad people”.

He said: “You’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength.”

just now in Texas.......

“So if you read my speech – and many people have done it, and I’ve seen it both in the papers and in the media, on television – it’s been analyzed, and people thought that what I said was totally appropriate,”

he still is showing no remorse.....
Do you think what he said was totally appropriate ?????

John Katko, a Republican representative of New York, has said he would vote to impeach Donald Trump for inciting the attack on the US Capitol last week.

“To allow the president of the United States to incite this attack without consequence is a direct threat to the future of our democracy,” Katko said in a statement to Syracuse.com. “For that reason, I cannot sit by without taking action. I will vote to impeach this president.

See Biden is trying for Unity......well this Republican Senator and a few others agree.......
those that don't are the true disruptors......

Right after the riots happened and the senators went back to vote, one of the Republican Senators stated that it was a bunch of undercover Antifa that did the storming and he had proof... Haven't seen this "proof" he said he has... so was he lying and if so should he be dismissed from office ????

update
Gaetz and others claimed that a “retired military officer” had sent the newspaper a facial recognition analysis of rioters by a technology firm called XRVision.

Representatives for the FBI and the justice department said more than 160 case files have been opened in connection to the violence at the Capitol. Michael Sherwin, the acting US attorney in DC, said that alleged rioters face a “mind-blowing” range of crimes, including felony murder and sedition and conspiracy.

Funny no mention of Antifa infiltrators....
concidering Trump is this the leader of the country and ultimately in charge of the operation, I'm sure if any of these 160 where involved with Antifa it would of been released very quickly....

Not sure where you've been living Seth, but it's already been done.

The next terrorist attacks are planned for January 17, and the terrorists have been told to come armed.

They plan to attack the capitol building in all fifty states.

House Republican Conference chair Liz Cheney: 'I will vote to impeach the President'
Liz Cheney, the third-highest ranking Republican leader in the House, said she will vote to impeach the president over inciting the attack on the US Capitol last week.
“The president of the United States summoned this mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack. Everything that followed was his doing. None of this would have happened without the president,” she said. “I will vote to impeach the president.”

Yet another joining Biden's unity.........
Trumps reply

Trump told supporters: “The Liz Cheneys of the world. We have to get rid of them,” for this failure to back him.

we all know what get rid of them means in Trump talk......nothing a good fire extinguisher wont fix....

Well it was either in this thread or the other that I predicted that Trump would be impeached by the House either today or tomorrow. That’s as good as a done deal.

But it’s understood by all that this is a purely political move by Pelosi. Nobody with a brain thinks she operates with the good of the country in mind. It’s 100% political. I expect a lot of Republicans to go along with it as well.

You are witnessing why I have been an Independent for a long time now, and I plan to remain one.

the biggest pure political play here is the GOP not forcing Trump to resign..... or just kicking him out... Pelosi can really do nothing else... is she supposed to just ignore what happened just because Trump will be out soon ?
The biggest flip here is pence, after Trump incited his followers to hang the guy, a few days later he is back in the Trump camp like nothing happened.... what a looser.....

Representative Jamie Raskin asked his chief of staff to “protect [two of his visiting family members] with her life,” as she stood guard at the door clutching a fire iron. Representative Jason Crow, said that he had not been in a similar situation since serving in Afghanistan and described the chaos on the House floor: “[T]he police weren’t able to get us out so they actually closed and locked the doors and started to take furniture and barricade the doors and the windows with furniture as the mob tried to ram them down and was breaking through the windows.” Representative Susan Wild, described hearing gun shots at approximately 3:00 PM and then Capitol Police screaming “Get down! Get down!”, as she crawled on her hands and knees through the gallery, witnessing her colleagues making phone calls to loved ones.

I can't believe anyone would just tell these people to not take this any further because it might just look political....

House debates resolution calling on vice president to invoke 25th Amendment
The House is now debating a resolution calling on Mike Pence to strip Trump of his powers by involving the 25th Amendment.
Congress is expected to vote on the measure at around 7:30 local time, and it’s expected to pass. It calls on Pence to “immediately” call on the cabinet to declare Trump unfit for office. But Pence is unlikely to do so, having given no signal that he will.
If Pence does not respond to Congress within 24 hours, representatives will start impeachment proceedings tomorrow.

This is the moment Justice or Politics take over.....not the impeachment....

Really?

The only difference between me and those politicians is that I would vote to impeach and remove Trump if he had any real time left on his term. But I would never do it for self-serving political reasons which is why they are doing it.

they haven't impeached him though......It's up to Pence.....will he do the right thing or be a self serving politician.....
