I rode a 50cc 2stroke Suzuki as a student. Was fine unless the wind was right against us when the damn thing would overheat and I ended up pushing it! Cheap student transportation.

My advice, is to trim well, season well(dry rub), watch the temp, don't keep opening and closing the lid to check, and start early(around 10 hrs).


I'm doing my neighborhood favorite pork ribs, sweet potato pies, devil eggs, corn bread, and lemon and mustard herb potato salad. And, with Baskin and Robbin's near enough to Butter Brickle ice cream(Hockey Pokey). Good luck!IMG_9008 (002)dons COOKIN2.JPG

There are many different chip blends you that can use, but I reckon soaked hickory chips is the best. If it is not too late, try a product called "Sweet Heat", BBQ seasoning, by Lane's BBQ. Also, get hickory liquid smoke, and add it to the marinade for basting. If you want that smoky hickory flavor.

I've just finished dry-rubbing the 14 racks of ribs. and I've finished making the potato salad and devil eggs, and they are now in the fridge. I've also finished my watermelon(chopped hearts only)-cantaloupe-waxed grape fruit salad. Starting today on my sweet potato pies(10).

Christmas this year will be just me and a premade meal, lamb tagine I reckon with wilted spinach. I haven’t done anything to the spinach yet but it is a bit wilted looking. . .
