trying to compare Antifa antics, to Trump's calculated Demonstration and storming of the capitol building to stop them making Biden President are two very different things...Ugh! I'm not in the mood to defend Trump, but I don't think he intended to levy war under the common meaning of "war".
If we could possibly just look at what happened objectively and dispassionately ... What happened was a demonstration got out of control. It was not an overthrow of government. It wasn't even an attempted overthrow of government. It was a short disruption of government. It was shocking because of where it happened, but a serious attempt to overthrow the government?
Nah. That's me just being objective about it.
Look ... You know I can't stand the Antifa terrorists. But when they break in to City Hall or the Justice Center, they are not "overthrowing" the government. They are committing crimes and rioting - but they are not committing treason. That also is just being objective.
Trump had been setting up pence for weeks before this ,saying quite falsely Pence had the power to overturn Bidens Predency.... When Pence did the only thing he could do and endorse it, Trump immediately Tweeted his followers saying Pence was a traitor, Trumps Presidency was being stolen and told his followers to march on the Capitol Building...... He used his power as the leader of your country to stop Government throwing him out....
If that is not treason, not sure what is......
what is really telling is 3 days later and no White house briefing on the incident....... why !!!!!
