The three Townsville seats, plus Cook and Keppell, are looking very shaky for Labor to hold, as does Aspley, South Brisbane and McConnel. If they all fall, there goes Labor’s majority in the parliament.

The only prediction worth paying attention to in any Queensland election is that it is unpredictable.

Palisachook must be sweating.....

It will be an absolute joy if KAP holds the balance of power. If that happens.....bye bye Uber! (......or at worst case scenario for the State of Qld....the Government pays proper compensation for the significant drop in Cab Licence values. That'll be about $B1.4.)

is that refunding the fee's that where paid for Taxi licenses ? That sounds fair to me...Uber are only the beginning, once full self drive cars are here, every car will be a potential taxi, then the flood gates will be opened....and hopefully personal car ownership should drop a lot as well...

No-one is after a total refund. Just compensation for the loss of the capital value of the Licence. Was worth around half a million pre Uber, now about $75,000.00.

As much as I dislike One Nation, this LABOR volunteer needs to be fined and removed from the Labor party....This was in Maryborough :?,
typical Labor Bulling though ,he is just imitating the ex Union leaders this party is full of......
not to mention he is breaking the law with social distancing.....

Palaszczuk owned Frecklington in today's Qld leaders debate

on matters of the border ... after weeks of jumping on the bandwagon of the Federal liberal party stooges about how Palaszczuk is politicising covid and that she should open the borders etc, Palaszczuk simply asked Frecklington if she would follow the cheif medical officers advice or not .... Frecklington said that she definitely would .... so who is really politicising the issue?

Then , a few moments later, when Freckles asked Palaszuk '"How can Queensland trust you given you're just a puppet for the unions?" ... the response ...The Premier replied: "How are those property developers going?" :ROFL1:ROFL1:ROFL1

for those of you from interstate and unaware of the issues .. tit came out during the campaign that even though donations from developers are banned, the libs are selling developers tickets to liberal party fundraisers
