Can't they all just be the exact same code as the old forum? That way we don't have to conduct a search in the emoticon tool, but rather just type the code that we remember.

It would seem to be easier for you too! For example - the old ':rofl' emoticon. You have registered that as 'roll-on-floor-laughing' You had to type more words to do that! Very odd!

It seems that the importer added the avatar of the person making the first post in the thread as the avatar of the thread—hence Booby’s whinge.

just type it .. and the person you're directing the comment to will get a notice that their presence is demanded ... nah, they'll get notice that you responded to them
