That bloke has...an Indian Grandmother, a Kiwi Grandfather, a Pom Grandmother and Grandfather, a Kiwi Indian Mother, a Pom Father, an Aussie Step Granddad....and was born in Scotland!

Sheesh! Luckily they are young and will come through it.
One thing I've come to realize. No matter what we do, we are ALL going to get it sooner or later.
My work just paused a whole class and sent them all home because it was spreading through the class.
Took Mum for a long drive today—Adelaide–Pt Wakefield–Balaklava–Gawler–home. Everything nice and green and rich, nice. When Delta hits town it will no longer be possible to go for lomng drives and Mum does like them so and hopefully it will keep her claustrophobia under control if and when we are locked down. I didn’t mind. We left about 10, got back at 3. I pointed out to Mum that when I arrive at the ferry terminal in Melbourne at about 3 I would have started not at 10am but 4.30am 
Trip to the Barossa next week, buy some wine. After that, COVID willing, some more Adelaide Hills winery visits.

Tomorrow I leave for Brownlee Reservoir on the Snake River with a couple of friends for some fishing and relaxation. See ya after I get back.
Well, a 5 course degustation lunch ending with icecream, couple glasses white wine so feeling pleasantly stuffed. Bought some wine, Pauletts aka Polish Hill River in the lovely Clare Valley, Riesling—the Clare Valley signature wine style. Now in a caravan/trailer park cabin. Looking o er the nice grounds listening to birdsong in between traffice noise on Main North Rd.
I just put in a request for 18 days of much needed vacation. I plan to go to the East Coast to see my military son and his family for Thanksgiving. I have one more week that I need to use or lose by the end of the year. I'm saving that for just after the divorce to facilitate moving and getting the house on the market.
I'm back to wanting to get a Jeep for future overlanding trips. I'd like to join a Jeep club and do organized trips into the wilderness with other Jeepers. The Jeep Gladiator would also be useful for hauling materials to build my home next year.
Mine won't be as fancy as this one.

They look very nice. I quite like them but was a little disappointed when after watching a motoring show cover them to see that they fell flat when compared to other 4wd's. The overall consensus at the end of that episode was they're great, unless you want to do some serious 4WDing.
In the end it depends on what you want to do with them. If you're just driving up boggy or snow covered tracks then they're great ... it you want to go over boulders and up very steep offroad inclines then they're probably not the car for you.
I'm not looking to tear my truck up on the rocks. It's an overlanding rig. It'll tackle moderately difficult terrain and more with a few mods. I am wanting to get the 3.0l diesel engine with 600N.m of torque and fit it with 37" tires (94cm diameter) and all of the necessary armor to protect my investment. I would love to mimic this jeep.

what surprised me most when i realized just how disappointed I felt after watching that episode, was that I felt that way at all ... I've never gone nor am likely to go offroading
