I was thinking the summer mean was wrong but then noticed this was for 80–90°N. Pole did have thin ice so any heat went to melting ice. The other seasons tho—temperature zooming!

Well, the Arctic summer this year was marked by high temperatures, right? While there is ice any heat goes into melting the ice, hence summer temperatures are pretty much constant at 0°C.

60-80°N with lots of ice melt did increase in temperature.

Yeh, ... I can just tell you Perth feels warmish and I predict a very hot summer!

I like thunder and lightning a lot but it seems scarily warm... although the warmth always comes kind of early .... I think/thought?!!?
