Deliberate lies in political advertising

absolutely
she knew enough to know he was crooked and instead of acting on it she opted for plausible deniability
how do you know she knew he was dodgy ? She is human and he could of conned her too.
was he talking about a dodgy deal or did she say that to him every time he talked about business ?

Sorry but not enough info, if she actually knew he was doing dodgy deals and turned a blind eye,get rid of her.
If they decided to never talk business so she couldn't be accused of being biased, then what she did was spot on.

smackhead

As I told you in the other thread, Talking shop wasn't an issue otherwise they wouldn't have been talking shop ... she only objected to talking about certain 'bits'

In one tapped phone call from September 2017, when Maguire talks about a deal he is doing with William Luong, she replies: “That's good, I don’t need to know about that bit.”

What bit? business ? that's all we have to go on.....you have other recordings where they talked shop about his business ventures......

She is the NSW Premier, and that business , as you call it, does NOT fall under her remit. She was taken advantage of, she says. That is likely true. It means, though, that she is not fit to be Premier. Why is that so hard for you to understand.?

Oh I know, lots of other suspect pollies have escaped by the skin of their teeth.. why shouldn't she.?

Well, it is the circumstances that speak to us today.

She is playing the 'pity' card, and I hate that. Just a foolish woman duped by a scoundrel. Happens all the time, BUT ..NOT acceptable for a Premier. My opinion would be the same if the gender roles were reversed.

why ? Did it effect her job ? If so how ?

At what level of government should someone be fired when they misjudge a X ?

If you start firing people for failed relationships, not going to be many people left with a job......

The funny part is how you winged about how Gillard was treated about her personal affairs, but this woman needs to be sacked.... double standard much ????????

what are you talking about.?

Gillard was one of our best PMs. She did a lot of good in a short time. Hmm can't have a woman showing up what fuckwits the majority of parliamentarians are.
