the government would claim total credit for stopping this virus
the government would introduce more intrusive/security measures as a safeguard against any future occurrences(vaccination ID's, vaccination passports). "Your papers please!"
100% of the population would now have more vaccine-induced, specific antibodies for life. Antibodies that will be completely exclusive to the SARS-CoV-2 virus only.
100% of the population would now have fewer broad-spectrum anti-bodies able to fight against other viruses and their variants
the government's investments in its own future fund shares in these pharmaceutical companies, would triple its profits.

Look, I am not going down any more of these rabbit holes, that hospitals are being overwhelmed with unvaccinated people. Or, that critically ill people are dying in the waiting rooms. Or, that any of the 61 Oregon hospitals are turning people away in droves. ALL OF THIS IS IRRELEVANT. The job of any healthcare facility is to treat everyone they can. People are NOT in the ICU's BECAUSE THEY ARE UNVACCINATED OR VACCINATED! THEY ARE THERE BECAUSE OF A SERIOUS COMPLICATION! Even a vaccinated person in any of the risk groups may wind up in these ICU's.
You are just assuming that if the ICU's have an inordinate amount of unvaccinated Covid-19 patients, that it is only because they are unvaccinated. And, that that there would be fewer of them in ICU's, which would allow for more beds for those with other serious illnesses. And would generally lessen the entire load on the hospital. This faulty top-down(deductive) reasoning. If I was unvaccinated and sitting in the ICU, I might at the very least feel some sense of guilt. A healthy and natural immune system needs no vaccines to fight any virus or bacterium.
Then you double down with another guilt-shaming assumption about those unvaccinated. That if everyone were vaccinated(even those who are already naturally immune), that the government would allow everything to go back to normal. With all due respect, you must be joking. The government has already tasted its power over us. All that this has done is to make every country and city, try to one-up each other. Do you think a gambler will stop gambling once he wins?

Some will receive it too late. It's already happening in some places. I just read about a Covid patient who died in an ER hallway because their were no ICUs available.

Other than being tested positive for Covid-19, I have no idea what he/she died from. Vaccination greatly reduces the need for infected people to be hospitalized and greatly reduces the death rate. That is not an opinion. That is a fact. It is a verifiable, quantifiable fact. To say that I am fear mongering is like saying that people saying you can get cancer from smoking are fear mongering. It's like saying that saying not wearing a seatbelt is more dangerous than wearing one is fear mongering. Things like those are not fear mongering; they are facts.
The only thing that will greatly reduce an infected person from a visit to the hospital, is the health of their immune system. That's it! If you are vaccinated with an unhealthy or compromised immune system, you may still be visiting the hospital, or even die. This is also not an opinion, this is a fact!
Really? We can show a direct causal link between smoking and lung(and other organs) cancer. We can clearly show the physics of why wearing seat belts will prevent serious injuries in low-speed traffic accident. We can even show the direct causal link between drinking too much alcohol, and cirrhosis of the liver and tissue-dependent alcoholism. So yes, you can fear-monger away!
But to claim/imply/insinuate that if you are not vaccinated, you will either be hospitalized or dead, IS ABSOLUTELY FEAR-MONGERING! And, I suspect that the 16.3M unvaccinated recovered American might disagree with you. Remember 80% of those who have recovered from Covid-19, reported only mild to moderate symptoms. FACT!
But if you can succeed at scaring 40% of your people into not vaccinating, you are going to reap what you sow, and you are not going to get back to normal.
I'm not trying to scare anyone into NOT getting vaccinated. Like you, I'M JUST STATING THE FACTS. I hope to reap, that more and more people will keep a more healthy immune system for life. Look ... As an American, born and raised in this culture of a belief in individual freedoms, I am turned off by some of the oppressive government actions of Australia. I think that rather than focusing on arresting people who gather together or don't wear masks, the government would serve the people better by devoting its resources to mitigating the virus itself. They could get enough vaccine. They could set up vaccination centers. They could call upon the military to supervise and set up those centers.
I was also born and raised in America. In the US, the right of the people to peaceably assemble, and to petition the Government to redress of grievances, is guaranteed by the Constitution, and cannot be abridged. There is no such guarantees here. The government controls you, because the sheep here will always choose to rationalize than to offer any push back.
Cops here are only good at catching fish in a barrel. Cops simply stopped everyone driving into Brisbane. If they didn't have a valid reason for being there, they were arrested if they refused to turn back. I would never have imagined, that in Australia, I would ever need a valid reason to enter a city.

People here are not only prevented by the police from peacefully assembling, but the people who use the internet to organize the assembly are being arrested. Cops are going into people's homes and fining them thousands for having too many people there. People are required to show proof of vaccinations in some areas. People are now restricted from leaving their state, unless they are working in the healthcare industry. We are NOT talking about being jailed for criminal violations, we are talking about being jailed for Health violations. In a country with less than 2% of the entire population even infected, after over a year and a half. With also less than 1% of the millions tested are testing positive. This is just insane fascism. And, the sheep here just do as they are told.
