Just returned from metal-detecting with friends and family at the Spit. It was so good to see the beaches filled with people and their dogs again. None were wearing silly masks, or keeping 2 meters apart. I was even happy to see people boating, surfing, and jet skiing again. Even the silly kids jumping off the bridge at the dog-friendly beach, only gave me a chuckle. I was also happy to see, that the Australia Fair SC was also filled with people again. None there were wearing silly masks(even the cleaners and security guards). Or, were keeping 2 meters apart from each other, like sheep. Maybe it is just something in the waters at the Gold Coast? Maybe people have come to realize, that these are just impractical, immature, and impossible solutions? Or, maybe some people just love spreading misery and despair? I don't know, but it was certainly a good day for me.
I was just so happy to see people again, living their dreams and thinking for themselves.
